Friday Mixtape: March 19, 2010

Ah! I'm obsessed with this week's playlist! It's really good! OK, so first, and i think probably most important (but I love all my songs equally...) is "All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You": I've given into the Heart spell. I tried to stay away, but pandora radio insisted that resistance is futile to Heart. Soo- ALL I WANT TO IS MAKE LOVE TO YOU! SAY YOU WILL! YOU WANT ME TOO! Ahhh... Best. Song. Ever. Is you seen the video? It's so epic! I guess I didn't want to hear Heart because, I don't know, I thought they were like folk. But I like folk. So I don't know why I was so against it, and anyway, they turned out to be like stadium rock. EXCELLENT!

So, the Runaways is coming out...today? This weekend? Idk, soon. When/if I see it, I'll probably post something, see what I come up wit. I really want to see it! At first I was like, "eh," but then i was like HELLZ YEAH! I think K-Stew can actually rock it. Anyway, so Joan Jett (everyone's hero), was on my mind.

RocĂo will be happy about track 3, we enjoy rocking out to this song together.

Skip track 4, "Into the Fray" by Earth Crisis, if you don't like hardcore, or if you ain't the mood for it (it's ok, a lot of times im not either). But you might like it. It's catchy! Earth Crisis is the straight edge, pro-animal, pro-environment group that you love.

Track 5, "Take Me On" by Aha, because... I really don't know why. It's catchy?

Another guilty pleasure: "Electric Hellfire" by Black Label Society. Sorry.
Then I realized we needed more pop so track 8 is Jeannie Ortega's "Crowded". This was the first song I actually had on my iPod, when I first bought an older one off my friend, it was the free download of the week! Ahem...Score! I already knew that song and loved it! Plus, one of my friends was in a situation similar to Jeannie's, so I reffered her to Jeannie. I just love medicore (or just unsucessful?) female pop stars...don't get me started on Paula DeAnda!

Track 9...'Til Tuesday's "Voices Carry". Why? See track 5. Plus, go Amiee Mann!

I realized there was no hip hop so I was like, "I must fix this!". J.J. Fad (LOVE!) are like the opposite of Menajatwa they have really soft voices, it's weird, but they still sound really awesome.
Yeahhhhh...that's it.
